i am trying to use the cutter driver to communicate with a customer, and they are insisting that i install the cutter drivers. i have the cutter driver downloaded, but i'm not sure how to install it, or what drivers i need to install, or where to get them. the problem is, the cutter site only supplies the cutter drivers, not the driver for my model of printer. my printer is an hp photosmart 2560 (also known as the photosmart c3010 series). they require the driver files to be downloaded from the cutter website. i have the files, but i don't know what to do with them. i tried unzipping them, but it didn't seem to extract. can someone give me a hand with this?
i would recommend that you download vista drivers. when you say you bought the pro version, did you buy the full version or the trial? if you bought the full version, the trial version will not show up in the add/remove programs list, so it won't install correctly. the drivers that you need to install are on the creation site and you will need to download each one of them. i downloaded them and they should be ready to install after you have downloaded them to a folder you create on your computer. i have uploaded the 2 files below. download both of them to a folder called vista. after you have done that, double click on the folder and choose the install option. click next, and follow the on screen directions. do not click on the next button until you are done installing. you will need to restart your computer to make the changes to the windows operating system. once you have done that, sign in to the signblazer software. when you see the create, cut and plot button you can now cut and plot with your pcut. if you have any further questions, don't hesitate to ask. also, if you have troubles installing these drivers i am more than happy to help you with that.
